The females are suppose to be shamefaced and sobriety and so the Miss stays hidden under the shadows of the trees lining the creek. In the meantime the male is out in the water trying to impress her with how fast he can catch minnows and bugs in the water and doing a dance every now and then. After going through his manly performance he is making eye contact with her. She obviously gave him the okay.
And now he is carefully approaching her. I biked off so they can have their date.
