Day # 16, Rube Smucker, Sr

Rube Smucker is doing weed eating and trimming around a house on Kaufman Ave. I remember the first winter I was living where I am now, I would bike past Rube's house and see an old man sitting out in the sun on cool winter days. My thoughts were he is very, very old and sick.

Then on other days I would see a very old man sitting on a lawn mower mowing grass. Anyway it took me all winter to realize the old man sunning himself and the old man on the lawn mower are the same man, Rube Smucker Sr.
