Year 2, Day # 10 - The Best Birthday Party

I bet these women were cute charming little girls many years ago, because they are still beautiful. Their personalities are still out in the open. Two ladies are not on the picture as they had not arrived yet. Esther in the middle was the hostess and invited a number of women to celebrate my 60th birthday.

Tonight I realized anew how many friends I have and they come from all walks of life, from different cultures and domination's. From among males and females. I am a people person and love to get to know each individual.

 My Birthday Cake

After I came home I laid out all the useful little gifts, anything from flowers, to cash, to soaps, a devotional book, towels, balloons and greeting cards and some bedding flowers on the porch. The bouquet on the right was delivered yesterday, a gift from Sherry Mullen. I am blessed.

    1. Bonnie, your comment makes me think. It is true that I live in a culture that values growing older. Pinecraft is the perfect place to observe old people in my culture. The oldest person that still lives an active life, or did last winter is a 97 year old man, with the most positive outlook in life. He still rides his regular bike and sneaks a little bit of roller skating after dark...
