I have met up with Miriam from "Amish in the City" a couple of time over the last few years in Pinecraft. Today they came to watch the Pioneer bus come in as the twins grandma was going to be on the bus coming down. Of course the twins grandma is Miriam mother.
The previous generation her grandparents Dannie Troyer's were our neighbors. The oldest children in Dannie's family would baby-sit us children. Or help Mom with the work load of daily living or whenever Mom had another baby Mattie or Iva would be the hired girl until Mom was on her feet again. We always had lots of fun with Dannie and Mary's children.
