Year 2, Day # 208 & 209 - My Last Day in Ohio and the Return to Pinecraft

I am doing this a little bit backward, as I want to get to bed in the worse way possible. All of last night I was traveling on the Pioneer Bus from Ohio to Pinecraft, so I didn't get much sleep. I do love traveling with Pioneer Trails, it is just a long ways from Ohio to Florida and it takes many hours of travel so tonight I am only blogging my last two days. Hopefully tomorrow I will download or is it upload my pictures and do more blogging.

Yesterday morning  my niece's husband Joe Schlabach took me on a ride straight up at the Holmes County Fire House. This lift or whatever you call it can go over one hundred feet into the air, although we went up only forty feet due to the wind. For safety measures I had to wear a heavy belt around my waist and be chained to the frame. If I would tumble out for any given reason I wouldn't fall to the ground but instead dangle in midair. This was probably once in a lifetime experience.

And this is today's picture. Tonight I went out biking and met up with Rube and Mary Smucker with Roman Schlabach at the wheel.

I had a good two week trip with relatives and family and now I am home in Pinecraft.

  1. I am not sure which picture does the most to me. The peoples expression on the golf cart belies their years.

    1. Most old aged people in Pinecraft love life to the fullest and so they smile with their eyes, well their whole face smiles.
