Year 2, Day # 288 - Family Life, as a Bird

The animal or fowl kingdom also has family life. I don't know how it compares to human family life, but tonight I think these birds are pretty straight in their family life order. 

The male with the red beard takes the lead. He was the one who was very nervous when I came around. Also when the Mocking Bird attacked the squirrel he wanted no part of the fight. He backed off and stayed clear. The mama bird was just an ordinary plain white bird. But the teenager looks a bit spiffy  in various shades of brown mixed with white and is in the Rumspringa age. He has a bit of a stubborn streak and has a mind of its own. I can just imagine him leaving home.
