This morning I took a good long bike ride. I wanted to do the bike/walking trail along the creek but changed those plans due to this chain link fence.
I took a distant shot of the work being done on the Phillippi Creek. They are taking out the rock retention wall with plans to redo both sides of the creek with native plants, shrubs and trees. At this point they have only the permits to do this side of the creek and are working on getting permits to do the opposite creek bank. At least this is the information I got from the head person that walks around and sees that everything is done according to code.
