Every couple of years someone comes around that loves the homeless for the simple fact that they are people just like the rest of us except they don't have a home. Tonight I met such a person. He is not showing kindness to them to gain "Brownie Points" from God or a certain church denomination.
This man knows them by name.
He knows their story.
He knows those that are true believers.
He knows because he cares and listens to them with his heart.
Thank you Lord for whomever You send.
He knows he has only a few weeks left to meet with them at this park. But he has his own transportation and can find them elsewhere in Sarasota. Homeless people and Snow Birds just do not mix and blend. One has no use for the other. They see no value in each other whatsoever. I am okay with this, for I have no power or authority to change attitudes and hearts. This is just the way it is.
