This notice has been posted at the Laundromat for ages. It is written in clear, plain English language. Many of us put our laundry into the dryers, put our coins in, push the start button and walk away. Almost always when we return the laundry is dry and we get it out of the dryer and take it home. But not always, sometimes the laundry is gone, stolen. The dryer is empty.
When this happens who is responsible for the missing pieces? The owner of the stolen laundry for leaving their clothes unattended? Or the caretaker of the Laundromat?
