Year 3, Day # 200 - Saloma and David Furlong

Tomorrow at 11 AM Saloma Miller Furlong and her husband David are having a Speaking Engagement and book signing at the Selby Public Library in Sarasota. Her new book "Bonnet Strings" was released a month or so ago. So today we met for the first time in person, although we have been online friends for a number of years.

While we were at the park this man walked up and started visiting with Saloma, because he recognized her from watching "The Amish: Shunned" from PBS. Erb on the right also came from Geauga County Ohio, the same area Saloma was born and raised. Like all Amish and exAmish do, they made connections.

Later in the day Janet Oberholtzer  and Saloma met at my place. Both have things in common, they are writers and speakers. Interacting with these two parties was the sum lump of my day. Tomorrow I plan to be at Saloma's book signing. And throughout the summer I will be seeing Janet now and then as she with her husband Jerry live in Venice, south of Sarasota.
