They know how to work and work hard.
They eat a lot of bugs and manure the land.
They lay eggs for their master.
They don't demand much attention.
But when a stray dog goes after them, the older women took to the street. The ones that couldn't run threw their canes at the dog. But the fastest runner did go after the dog, caught him only to have the dog slip out of his collar. When the dog chased down the chickens the second time, the cops were called and the dog was arrested, handcuffed and taken away. And the neighborhood lives peaceably from hence forth, even to this day.
