Every living thing has a limited lifespan. This is the tallest tree and probably the oldest one on my street. Every living thing is designed to bear seed, reproduce itself and replenish the earth. I don't know if this specific tree ever reproduced itself but it bore food for the squirrels and the birds. Tonight I realized again its days are numbered. If it doesn't topple from Hurricane winds, it will perish in the hands of humans, It is just the way it is.
