This morning I watched these two check out each other. The turtle knew where he was going, but the squirrel didn't know what the turtle was, so he kept his distance after following him a bit. Finally the turtle had enough. He pulled in under Ernie's trailer and sat there watching the squirrel watch him. After a while each one decided the other one is harmless and so the turtle went into gear again and headed for the creek while the squirrel went happily his own way.
