This was our day until after 6:30 tonight. We desperately needed the rain and so we got over 2.5 inches. It had almost quit raining at 6:30 but then it started up again and I figured this is a day when I won't get outside at all. So I settled down with a book and half an hour later the clouds had broken and it was clearing off. I high-tailed outside for a good bike ride yet before dark, as did more people.
I went to look at the creek and all kinds of debris was fast flowing down the creek, anything from weeds to plastic cups to a plastic children's slide.
