Year 2, Day # 313 - Three Sisters

Laura, Fannie and Minnie traveled via Pioneer Trails to Indiana two weeks ago. They spend a week in Indiana visiting relatives and family. Then they found a ride to Holmes County Ohio and had another week of visiting and doing things in Ohio. Yesterday afternoon these sisters boarded the Pioneer bus in Berlin Ohio, same as I did. This morning after having breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Tifton GA, I asked if I may take a picture of these three sisters. It is not very often sisters this age get the privilege of traveling together visiting relatives. Laura is the oldest of these three and is old enough to get free trips to and from Florida.

I didn't do any blogging while I was in Ohio. It was partly due to the fact that I didn't have Internet, but also I bought a small travel computer but didn't take the time to get used to it before I stuck it into a suitcase and I needed Internet to get the thing up and running. But it was good to take a computer break for a couple of weeks. I haven't decided if I am going to fill in the days I missed or skip those days. I will be kept busy sorting and blogging all the happenings in Ohio for a number of days. I had a busy full two weeks.

  2. The one on the far right is my Mom, who is 86, Aunt Laura on the left is almost 92, and Aunt Fannie is 82. All three are in fairly good health, very independent, all still drive. They had a full trip visiting cousins, nieces and nephews, and of course our family (grandchildren and 11 of Minnie's 15 great grands). Mom got a very deserved break and vacation, since she is the primary caregiver for my 55-year-old sister who has Down's Syndrome. Thanks for taking the picture!

  3. Thanks Becky. When I watched the three board the bus in Berlin, I purposed to seek an opportunity to take this picture and I got my opportunity.
