Mid-afternoon I biked to the Pinecraft Park. I thought maybe there would be a game of Shuffleboard going but there wasn't.
I looked at the emptiness, knowing that in less than six weeks the first Snow Birds will be here, and then more and more and more, until the first peak at Christmas. A little bit of a lull for a few weeks in January until the second peak starting at the Haiti Benefit Auction until the end of February.
