Tonight when biked down to the Phillippi Creek this flock of Ibis were wading in the water. It is that time of the year again when they act like Snow Birds and come flocking into Pinecraft. While I was snapping a few pictures of them when one Ibis looked up and saw me on the bank. Obviously he had some flashbacks of last winter and remembered the bird goodies I carried with me, so he came out of the water and walked up the bank toward me and all the rest of them followed suit. All I had was peanuts for the squirrels. But I broke some open and pitched them out so they could get to the peanut.
