I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would meet Annie Yoder, let alone in Pinecraft, but here she is. I don't know much about the history of Pathway Publishers in Aylmer Ontario, except for snatches here and there. Pathway Publishers publishes three magazines for the Plain People. The Blackboard Bulletin is for school teachers and started out as a circle letter, before it got turned into a magazine for Parochial Schools. The second magazine was Ambassador of Peace which was for C.O. and IW boys. After it no longer served that purpose the title changed to Young Companion and this magazine served Young People. The third magazine was and still is Family Life, which came into existences in the late 1960's. This is the time Annie Yoder and Lydia Nissley moved to Canada and worked at Pathway Publishers. During that time many a single girl did VS work at Pathway Publishers, helping out for a couple of years and then moved on.
I had never met Annie Yoder. She had never met me until today. I had heard stories about her. She had heard stories about me... We were both pleasantly surprised to meet today. She now lives at Somerset Pennsylvania.
